Asciano Sound Festival

The journey of Asciano Sound Festival (Asciano Suono Festival) begins in spring with sounds of the world from two cult international artists, with their only dates in Tuscany: Canadian cellist Julia Kent and Cuban pianist Gonzalo Rubalcaba.

  Julia Kent
  Famous world-wide for her collaborations (Antony and The Johnsons among the others), she is a cult composer and cellist. Many are the soundtracks she has written, filled with sounds that draw from both the urban beat and the powerful nature of Canada, her home country.

  Gonzalo Rubalcaba
  15 Grammy Awards Nominations and collaborations at the highest levels of world jazz make Gonzalo Rubalcaba a point of reference not only for lovers of this genre. This special concert is a not to be missed opportunity to hear the Cuban pianist live.

Asciano Sound Festival will then take place from July 2 to July 6.
