You will begin the tour in the central Piazza San Michele in Foro, characterised by the Romanesque church of the same name. You will head towards Piazza Napoleone from which you can admire the Palazzo Ducale, dating back to the Neoclassical period, and the Teatro del Giglio, one of the oldest public theatres in Italy. You will then discover the majestic Cathedral of San Martino, a fundamental destination for medieval pilgrims who passed through here to venerate the image of the 'Holy Face' of Christ. 

Passing through the city's characteristic medieval streets, you will find yourself in Piazza dell'Anfiteatro, founded on the remains of the ancient Roman arena. You will then pass in front of the famous Guinigi Tower, unique for the charming tree-lined hanging garden on its top. After admiring the astonishing façade of the Basilica San Frediano, you will climb the Renaissance Walls.
