Work and relax, a perfect combination!
Agriturismo La Roverella takes its name from the large oak tree (Quercus Robur) that flanks the bulding, once used as a granary and vinsantaia. During the stay it is possible to attend seasonal agricultural operations, such as the pruning of the vineyards, the grape harvest, the racking, the olive harvest, the sowing and harvest of wheat, and everything that the art and peasant culture have handed down with difficulty, enthusiasm up to the present day.
We welcome our guests with a bottle of wine produced in the company and a homemade cake (currently suspended for COVID19 security).
Our farmhouse is the ideal place for those who wish to work in total tranquility in an amazing location and, at the same time, want to relax in an apartment with an independent entrance and a large private garden. The kitchen is fully equipped, you can enjoy refreshing coffee breaks or prepare your meals.
Between one break and another, Graziano, the owner, is always proud to show his cellar-museum, the photographic exhibition on peasant culture and to tell the story of the building which dates back to 1300. He will also be happy to illustrate the most interesting itineraries for visiting the surrounding countryside and the places of greatest historical, architectural and artistic interest in the area.
Through a path right next to the vineyard, you can reach the top of the Poggio Tondo hill where you can enjoy a beautiful view of Siena and the surrounding landscape.
Our offer includes a stay from 14 nights for 2 people in one of our apartments with availability also for 3 or 4 people.
